Regulatory & Compliance Executive (BOMBA, SIRIM & JKR)

We are seeking a Regulatory & Compliance Executive to support certification, regulatory submissions, and product compliance activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, well-organised, and capable of coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely approvals and adherence to Malaysian regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Support the preparation and submission of regulatory and certification applications to BOMBA, SIRIM, and JKR in Malaysia.
2. Assist in managing product testing and certification processes, including coordination with testing laboratories and certification bodies.
3. Support applications, renewals, and maintenance under BOMBA, SIRIM, and JKR product certification schemes, including product listings and documentation updates.
4. Manage quotations, invoices, and payments related to testing and certification bodies.
5. Track and monitor all certification applications, ensuring proper documentation, status updates, and timely follow-ups.
6. Coordinate product labeling and marking requirements with the production team to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
7. Liaise with relevant regulatory authorities such as SIRIM, BOMBA, and JKR on certification requirements, clarifications, and submission matters.
8. Monitor regulatory approval timelines and proactively follow up with authorities and laboratories to ensure on-time approvals.
9. Maintain proper records and filing of all certification documents, reports, and approvals for audit and reference purposes.
10. Support internal teams on compliance-related matters, ensuring products meet applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
11. Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Requirements:

1. Diploma/ Degree in Engineering, Science, Regulatory Affairs or equivalent
2. Minimum 1 year related working experience
3. Knowledge in Microsoft office
4. Good communication and coordination skills
5. Able to work independently and as part of a team
6. Prior exposure to regulatory compliance, certification processes, or product registration is an advantage.
