CNC Machinist

We are currently hiring a CNC Machinist to operate computer numerical control (CNC) machinery to fabricate precision parts and components used in our industries. An ideal candidate should be able to interpret technical drawings, setup CNC machines, programme machining operations and monitoring production processes to ensure the quality and accuracy of finished products.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Set up CNC machines, including loading raw materials, securing workpieces, and installing cutting tools.

• Operate CNC machines to perform machining operations such as milling, cutting, drilling, turning, threading, grinding and etc.
• Monitor machine operation, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
• Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software or machine-specific programming languages.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures for each machining operation and troubleshoot programming errors and optimize tool paths
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn components.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform minor repairs to keep machines running smoothly.

Requirements:

1. Minimum SPM or high diploma obtained through vocational study
2. Minimum 1-2 years of  related working experience
3. Must be computer literate with knowledge of applications related to machining
